My career


Hi! My second post is about my career. Currently, I'm studiyng antropology-archaeology, but when I were a child I had other interests. I liked mathematics and I wanted to study engineering. I also wanted to become a teacher because I like teaching. But I was 13 years old, I discovered the violin. My interests changed and when I finished my high school I began to study violin at conservatory, but I really wanted was to be a luthier. I managed to take lessons, but I was left without a teacher.

Then I decided to study archaeology. I like so much this career beacause I love the history and the objects.  I'm very happy with my decision. 

In the future, I would like to work in a museum or travel discovering new archaeological sites. I do not rule out possibility of continuing to learn lutherie. I believe I'm good at it.

    Like you, I loved mathematics but in adolescence I began to be interested in the social sciences. Success with your decision

Hello everyone! In this blog I'm going to tell you about my last vacation. I don't usually take vacations because I have always worked in the summer or attended music camps, but this year I did. In January I went back to the south of Chile and visited a friend. I lived in the south before moving to Santiago, so I have a house to get to, but I decided to visit my friend. He lives in Panguipulli, near the lake. I stayed four days at his house. Every day we got up late, cooked and then went to the beach to spend the rest of the day with his family. At night we looked at the stars taking advantage of the clear skies of southern Chile while we talked, one day we saw more than seven shooting stars pass! We didn't do a lot of activities, but it was relaxing to get out of the chaos of Santiago and I got to spend a lot of time with my best friend and that was the best part of the vacation. Last blog

Hello everyone! In this last blog I going to tell you about my experience learning English at university.  Personally, I had a bad English background in the past and I find it difficult to relate to other people, which is much worse in English and I forget everything I know. I liked the classes with Miss Lara much more than last semester because I feel the she made sure that we all participated and gave us feedback, I learned a lot more than last semester. It was easier to practice face-to-face with other people and much more dynamic. About blogs, it’s not my favorite part mainly because of the topics to be covered. Personally, it took me longer to think about what to write about than it did to start writing the blog.  As for my English, although I understand when I am spoken to, I'm still not able to string together more than one sentence and worse, to speak it. I have a lot of gaps in content and pronunciation. The latter is what I struggle with the most. I think I should ...

My favorite piece of technology

Hi everyone, today I will talk you about my favorite piece of technology, the mobile phone. I have had many mobile phones because I have broken them, had them stolen or lost them. I have had my currently mobile phone for 10 months and it is the one that has  lasted the  longest. I generally use it for chat with my friends, family and boyfriend. I also use it to listen to music and podcasts,  read books in "BP digital" , take pictures, buy online, check my mail and use the dictionary. I sometimes make video calls with my friends or boyfriend. I use my mobile phone every day, but I forget to charge it. Sometimes, I lose it at home and usually don't know where I put it. What I like the most of my mobile phone is that it is rugged I can carry it everywhere.  If I didn't have it, it wouldn't affect me personally, but it is necessary to be connected to the world.
